Finding & Photographing Juvenile Juncos

While wandering the woods recently, I came upon a small family of Gray-headed Juncos. I have not often seen baby Juncos. They are gorgeous. They like thick brush and deep cover making it a challenge to get a decent photograph.

I stood still a long time against a tree waiting for these little button birds to show themselves.

Sneaky.
